Mobile Lab "KAMAZ" represents an all-terrain cab-after-engine truck. Due to its spacious interior the lab truck is recommended for remote and/or long lasting oilfield trips.

The lab truck offers a convenient working and living area for a wireline/slickline crew – a comfortable heated accommodation compartment equipped with all the tools and accessory need for a job. Transport containers are fitted under the main van body to facilitate safer and comfortable transportation of the tools and lubricator pipes. Uninterruptable power supply is provided by a stand-alone generator installed in a separated section.

Slickline Winch LKI-Tekhno powered by a combination drive enables an operator to engage either an electric or a mechanical drive by alternating from one to another to adapt to a specific type of a downhole operation.

LKI winch drive

  • 1

    Electro-mechanical drive

The system combines two types of actuators (mechanical and electric), which are mutually redundant. The desired actuator is selected by switching a special clutch.
  • 2

    Electric drive

The torque is transmitted to the drum by an electric motor or gearmotor with a power of 4-5 kW and rated voltage of 220/380V. The presence of a frequency converter makes it possible to precisely regulate the drum speed without steps.
  • 3

    Mechanical drive

The torque is transmitted to the drum from the vehicle engine via the KOM (DOM) by means of cardan and/or chain gears. Directional selection and speed change are made by means of the chassis gearbox (1-5 gears for ascending, reverse for descending) and also through the manual accelerator.
  • 4

    Hydraulic drive

The torque is transmitted to the drum from the vehicle engine via the vehicle's COM using a hydrostatic transmission. Directional change and speed adjustment are performed smoothly and smoothly without step jumps by means of the control unit (joystick).
Van body
The body of the mobile laboratory van is made of innovative multilayer sandwich panels of different types, created by pouring or gluing. The exterior finish of the panels is represented by durable duralumin sheet or metal cladding. The internal finish consists of moisture resistant plywood covered with reinforced plastic.
Van body
Depending on the version, the operator's living compartment is separated from the winch working space by a thermally insulated partition, providing comfortable working conditions for personnel in oil and gas fields. The operator's compartment is equipped with a winch control panel and speed, depth and wire tension sensors for monitoring the progress of work. There is also a kitchen block with all necessary equipment and a sofa for employees to relax.

The winch workspace is equipped with containers for transporting downhole equipment and special containers for transporting lubricator units. There is a set of drums with weeding and a crane-jib for drum installation.
